What a spectacular movie! I have to say that I loved it. I loved it enough that I saw it in I-Max, in 3-D, on regular screen and on dvd. I had just come back from a visalus sciences pep rally and decided to go see a flick. Normally, I'm not into Sci-Fi movies, but this one was intriguing. I took my two youngest grand kids with me and they were captivated as well. This movie had political messages as well as romantic messages. I love the idea that there is a better world out there where people respect one another and respect their habitat. What appeals the most to me is that, to the Navi, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. They never put beauty above anything. Notice that they really were not good looking people but they found each other beautiful. The other thing I loved, was that they all looked out for one another. They all pulled together as a village. As I sat there watching this movie I thought, whatever happened to humans on earth? How did we get to where we are now, where beauty matters more than the substance of a human? Yes, I'm glad I'm human and I'm glad I live on earth. I'm very grateful for democracy and living the American dream. However, wouldn't it be nice to see what a world like that would be just for a moment in time?
