We Like the Blob– Best Movie Ever Made
Yes SyFy has some great movies. But I won't even pay attention to that network until they remake "The Blob." This is a near perfect movie. A small blob grows exponentially until it takes over the earth. Well, it doesn't do that in the movie, but we are lead to believe that is what happens. And I believe it did. They don't make movies like this any more. They all end with happy endings that have nothing to do with reality. Sure the situation is dire. A world covered with 'blob.' But, hey, it is a morality tale. It tells us to appreciate what we have and to protect it. Not make stupid decisions. Funny, I couldn't help but think of the blob when the oil wells started leaking. Anyway, I digress-- I really think this movie would make an awesome remake on the SyFy Channel. But no, they have to do reality series.
Roller Derby Madness
Last weekend the roller rink downtown had their grand opening. There was a bunch of people there, and after about two hours, everybody decided to have an old fashioned roller derby game, where people would skate around and try to knock each other over. After a while it got pretty crazy, with elbows flying everywhere. One guy almost broke my nose with his knee. I was about to hit him back when it seemed like I recognized him from somewhere. Sure enough, we belong to the same movie club. We get together on Thursday nights and watch one of the best romance movies ever made. It's kind of a secret club, as most guys don't want to admit that they are fans of romance movies, especially when they are throwing down on the weekend, but we all have a good time. After we realized we knew each other, we teamed up and really delivered some good punches to the other skaters. It was all in good fun, afterward everybody had beer together, and sang old Russian military songs.
Five Extras Things To Consider For Your Wedding

2) Magician- Again for the period of photographs leading up-to the starter. They often lighten the mood and entertain guests who know few people at the day. Great for adults and kids!
3) wedding video A must have! Remember every moment of your day that would otherwise become a blurry memory. You will also get to see parts of the day you missed, such a peoples reactions etc. Book a cameraman who is professional and knows how blend in naturally into your day.
4) Lanterns- These can be great if you have room to release them in the evening- They give the guests something to do and also brighten up the sky for some great memories and photographs
5) Chocolate Fountain/ Roulette table- Great for extra things to do in the evening apart from drinking and dancing
